The Truth is Bad Enough
I don’t think it’s a secret that I’m not a fan of many of Donald Trump’s policies or his personality. That said, the worst thing the media and we as dissenters can do is blow the already dire situation of a Trump presidency out of proportion with half-true or overblown stories as the Washington Post did yesterday.
Shoddy reporting (or at least a fantastic headline/lead) only bolster’s Trump’s claims that the media is spouting “fake news” about him and his policies. We have to continue to harp on the things that Trump actually does do that hurt this country, not blow out of proportion the things that are typical for a party change in the White House.
