The Irony of Conservative Nationalism

The two headlines that stood out to me from President Donald Trump’s inauguration speech were “Trump Strikes Nationalistic Tone” and “Trump Directs Agencies to Pare Back the Affordable Care Act.”
20 million Americans got health insurance from the Affordable Care Act, bringing our country’s uninsured rate to its lowest in history. If that isn’t good for the nation, I’m not sure what is.
So, what are we really going to get then? I guess Trump wants to foster the nationalist, patriotic spirit while offering as few nation-building benefits to its citizens as possible.
