We’re closing in on the day when cars won’t be an owned asset, but merely a service that people subscribe to as they need them.
Okay, the transformation may not be that quick, and maybe never in rural small towns, but it’s getting easier and easier to imagine a day in cities like Chicago, Atlanta, or Los Angeles where transportation means spinning up an app that sends a driverless car that listens for voice cues on where and how it should drive you around town. The advantages are many with parking being the most obvious.
